- 1874 Edmund Göbel establishes his company
- 1922 Robert Jirka etablishes his company in Pleissing in Lower Austria
- 1930 Robert Jirka relocates to Vienna
- 1954 Robert Jirka re-opens his business post-war, expansion and modernization
- 1974 Josef Göbel acquires Edmund Göbel's company
- 1982 Relocation to the new company headquarters in Fladnitz, Styria
- 1994 Expansion of the company in Fladnitz
- 1996 Opening of the new glazier's workshop in Passail, Styria
- 1978 Establishment of the consortium R.Jirka-J.Göbel
- 1996 Establishment of the R.Jirka GmbH & Co KG and consolidation with the Göbel-Jirka carpenter's workshops
- 2007 Göbel-Jirka carpenter's workshops relocate to Vienna and take over Seliger GmbH
- 2007 Establishment of Materio GmbH, holding company (FN 295113 s)
- 2011 Materio Gmbh acquires the ARTEX Art Services know-how and establishes ARTEX 2012 Gmbh
